Idran Yusuf is an artist who hailed from Pagar Alam, South Sumatra. The man, born on 14 March 1953, is the first out of five children. Idran grew up and remained in his hometown well into his adulthood. He is best known for his love of nature, which grows with age. His fondness for nature can be attributed to his childhood in Pagar Alam, which in turn inspires his artworks. "One Bright Morning I" is one of them. That being said, the ASRI-educated artist is not only good at painting natural landscapes but also calligraphies. Throughout his life, he has been featured in several calligraphy exhibitions in Indonesia.
